The route of riches in Putin's Moscow

When Vladimir Putin drives to work every morning from his presidential bungalow he doesn't pass the poor, the needy or the hungry. Instead, he passes Gucci, Armani and Prada. In the unlikely event that his presidential Mercedes breaks down, he could pop into Barvikha Luxury Village, an elite shopping complex just down the road from Putin's dacha, and a few kilometres west of Moscow's ring road. Here, Lamborghini and Ferrari have a showroom. The Bentley dealership sells a car a day. Dolce & Gabbana is here too, with a VIP fitting room decorated in mink. If this gets too much, Putin could drop into the Avenue, the centre's chi-chi Italian restaurant where a plate of seafood risotto sets you back a mere £30. Putin's presidential residence is just off Rublyovo-Uspenskoye Shosse, a Swiss-style road that snakes out of Moscow down a pleasantly pastoral avenue of pines and silver birches.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Young Jeezy Crashes Lambo! Budden To Shady? Obama Lkes ...

I was told that Terrence J and Rocsi of BET's “106 & Park: might be replaced. Now, that's what people are saying, but it might be, because a casting call allegedly went out for the show new talent. I'm going on record with this: I like Terrence J & Rocsi and I'm not really interested in seeing new people. Sure, I still love Free, but that's a lost cause. Anyway…as always, we'll see!

On the Free tip, I heard she is also working with Obama on his campaigning BUT THIS IS NOT TRUE. Just wanted to clear that up!

YOUNG JEEZY CRASHES LAMBO

Young Jeezy is one of the trap's biggest stars! But, if he doesn't learn to handle that Lambo, he's gonna be trapped behind that wheel! I don't know when this happened, but they are listing Jeezy's white Lamborghini as a fancy car that was demolished.

Spyker iPhone-lookalike spotted at MWC

Dutch car manufacturer Spyker is allegedly doing its own take on the iPhone, since the mystery device was recently spotted at the Mobile World Conference in Barcelona. CNET reports that a Spyker branded iPhone-lookalike was visible behind a glass case, but with a physical keypad, rather than relying on the on-screen keyboard of the iPhone. Spyker did not have any literature available for the device, and merely acknowledged that it is part of the company's product portfolio, saying little more.

Spyker is not the first luxury car company to offer a branded cell phone. During late 2006, Nokia unveiled a limited edition 8800 Sirocco that sports a laser-etched Lamborghini emblem. The phone also featured a sapphire screen coating to reduce scratches, as well as add to its exotic nature.

Siemens's XELIBRI Fashionable Cellphones

Like a Lamborghini or a gorgeous blonde on your arm, your cellphone is a status symbol. To boldly underline this point, German electronics giant Siemens has created a new brand of sexy, eye-popping mobile phones called XELIBRI.

In a move to make its mobile phones into more of a fashion accessory, Siemens will sell the XELIBRI line primarily in department stores and through other fashion retailers.

Like high-end fashion, these phones will be available in Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter collections, with a choice of four models in each collection. Each phone will be available for a cycle of 12 months. This guarantees that you're not walking around with the same phone as everyone else. With a look and feel that's different from any other, the XELIBRI line is sure to attract the attention you're looking for.

Diggbrow: How The Internet Redefined Art

"Art" is just another headline-filler word for "amazing." At least for children, who are the future, and geeks, who are the new trendsetter-influencer-coolhunters. Since K-12 art education is virtually dead, and no one reads books, these heavy Internet users have no preconceptions of art and they don't follow that world's big names. A new Cy Twombly or Lucien Freud painting won't get attention on Digg (Chris Ofili maybe, for the controversy), but a painted Lamborghini is one of the social news site's all-time favorite "art" posts. But it's not all bad. The Diggbrow movement isn't destroying art any more than the Dadaists or post-modernists did; it's reinventing it.

The heavy Internet users of Digg, YouTube, Fark, and StumbleUpon have little background in the usual experience of art: a rich education that lets viewers appreciate a work in context.

Maria Sharapova shines at IMG players party

The traditional IMG players party at Crown was a glamorous affair with the likes of Maria Sharapova and James Blake leading the stars on show.

But earlier Jelena Jankovic, who has climbed into the top five in the world, stole the limelight at a party held by Prince.

Jankovic looked more like a model wearing 10cm heels and a small black mini-dress.

Alighting from a yellow Lamborghini without showing her underwear was a struggle.

"It's hard getting out of a car in a dress like this with photographers everywhere," Jankovic said.

Joining her at the party, which was held at the Lamborghini outlet in South Yarra was controversial world No.4 Russian Nikolay Davydenko. He turned up looking smart and colour co-ordinated with a black car.

Drive a dream, for a limited time, with Orlando luxury-car club

For about $53,000, affluent Central Floridians can slip into the custom-fitted leather seats of a silver Saleen S7 sports car and test its reputation as one of the fastest cars on the road. But only for a year.

A pricey, annual membership to Luxautica -- a new car-share club inside a renovated art gallery near the Mall at Millenia -- allows the elite access to its private collection of 20 exotic cars, including Lamborghinis, Ferraris and a Rolls-Royce.

Orlando's Cary Erfurth, a partner with Island One Resorts time-share company, became the club's charter member.

IRS: Folsom Man Behind $12 Million Fraud

The alleged promise to investors was a 24 percent return on their money. Instead, federal investigators believe a Folsom man who ran a fund called Christians In Crisis used the money as his own piggy bank, buying a million-dollar Folsom house, a Lamborghini and a yacht.

Armed with a search warrant Friday morning, federal agents raided Stephen K. Wilson's house on Glen Mady Way and his office on Park Shore Drive, both in Folsom. Wilson has not been arrested.

"We don't think he's going anywhere," said a source close to the investigation, who said they believe as many as three dozen investors lost a total of $10-to-$12 million.

The warrant affidavit describes what an Internal Revenue Service investigator believes is a Ponzi scheme in which investor money is lost but the losses are covered up by payments gleaned from new investors.
